Syria and Iran, two of Iraq's neighbors, have emerged as potential flash points. Administration officials have put both on notice that their behavior is being closely watched, but the State and Defense departments disagree over how hard to push the message and whether it is being heard.

US warns Iran, Syria, and N. Korea they may be next . . . if they do not "draw the appropirate lession from Iraq."

In Rome, a U.S. undersecretary of state, John R. Bolton, warned other countries the United States believes to be pursuing weapons of mass destruction, a list that includes Iran, North Korea and Syria to "draw the appropriate lesson from Iraq."
